Goodbye LCM....

Dear LCM blog reader(s)

Well today Honee delivered the sad news to everyone that we at LCM have decided to close the group. Not that we didn't love this place! We all really do!!! Personally I have learned so much through LCM and being a member there has helped me so tremendously that I fell in debited to the Honee for life and that is no exaggeration.

But we all have gotten so busy and well we've really tried to liven LCM up and none of us wanted to see it become a "spam spot" LCM is just too good of a place and too much work went into it to let that happen. So its time to just go other ways and say goodbye. We'll miss everyone but I'm sure we'll still see you around in the "boutique world". Thank you sharing yourselves with us in LCM. It truly was a wonderful experience.

This weeks features are in! In no particular order-

with her totally loopy Valentine bow! This single accessory is so perfect to match so many boutique Valentine sets this year. The fullness and the mix of ribbons and materials make this bow a one-of-a-kind and a total MUST HAVE! Love it!

Next we have blu*moon*design
with her adorable "American Fido" Glamour Diva Boutique set. This adorable set is made of such cute fabric and just totally shouts DIVA with the first glance! The details havent been overlooked with this set. The skirt is so full and twirly and the top has a sweet matching applique in the center! Adorable!!! This sets sweet simplicity with a dash of sass will have any Diva just excited to be the "Idol" of the day when she is wearing this set! Gorgeous!!

Next up is renaissanceangel

with her lovely boutique goldfish twirl! Oh you are never disappointed with a renaissanceangel creation and this set is just no different! This gorgeous set is just so perfect for upcoming spring! The colors are so bright and she arranged the fabrics so perfectly for this set. This 3 piece set is perfect to mix and match your way into spring! Fabulous!

This weeks pick are just too sweet! First up is Surfermomkelly with her adorable custom Valentine set!

The adorable frayed applique give this sweet little set such rich texture! You get the feel this really is a wearable work of art. Kelly really delivers a "sweet meets sassy" look here. She spared no detail with this gorgeous set. It is just so cute yet also practical that your little sweetie could easily wear this set all year long for any occasion! A perfectly sweet creation!

Next up is Pixiesandprincesses
with her adorably delicious 3pc Chocolate lollipop set.

The rich vibrant colors of the gorgeous fabrics used for this set will surely last through the transition from winter to spring! This 3 piece features a halter style dress top, a long sleeved appliqued shirt and pants. Making the mix and match capabilities of this set perfect for cold or warm weather! Overall this set just makes a beautiful statement of quality and functionality- oh and by the way- its just so adorable! Excellent work!

And finally we have this totally custom crochet hat auction by the talented Michelle of vivi-lu designs
These adorable hats are an absolute must have for winter to spring! Michelle's sweet and simple hats are the perfect accessory to brighten up any outfit! This auction is so great because it is TOTALLY CUSTOM! Imagine that? You get to put Michelle's awesome talent to work for you! You get to choose style and color there are examples to choose from or you get to come up with your own! It just can't get any better than that!! Simply Fabulous!!

With her Diva in denim set modeled by the lovely Chaislyn, this set is sure to please even the most demanding diva out there. With the lovely silvery white leopard print just busting through, this set is a total reflection of the meaning of DIVA! Perfect for any occasion!

The next pick is also a Lovely set by ritzy*couture
with her lovely valentine sweetie deco set perfect for the upcoming holiday Valentines day. The deep rich reds and pinks on denim are just a perfect mix of style! We just LOVE those deco jeans too- simply Adorable!! This set will be perfect for the holiday and beyond!

Last but certainly not least we have bada*blingg
with her lovely button set. This Headband and bracelet set is just packed full of brightly colored buttons. The colors are perfect for the Christmas holiday! Its just sure to compliment any outfit and catch the eye of everyone around her! We just love the creativity of this set of "bling" plus it just so darn cute!!!

I know this set certainly applies in my household as im sure it does with many of you reading this as well! This set includes a beautifully painted top and jeans. The jeans are appropriately trimed with white fur! So Cute!

Nancy just amazes me with the endless ideas she has and how she just tops herself over and over!

Nancy is just number one in our books with design and personality. Nancy has always given good words of advice and encouragement. We feel that Nancy brings so much to LCM and we're so glad to know her!

Well its hard to put it into words but Mary has just single-handedly redefined handbag couture!

Her unique designs are just full of meticulous attention to detail that indeed insures an outstanding bag! Her creative totes are always so unique its just amazing that one person can be so talented in her craft.

Mary is also a fun and helpful person. She is always the first to give praise where it is due. Her attitude is always positive and at LCM we appreciate her and are glad to have her in the group!

Le Chic Mademoiselle- so much more than a spam spot

Upon entering LCM for the first time I saw this lovely graphic to the right here and then read "This is a discussion board dedicated to custom boutique for girls that wear sizes 7 and up. Designers and buyers are both welcome." I thought to myself. WOW this group might help me figure out my daughter! LOL

Being new to groups altogether I was not sure what to expect. Upon first reading the discussions it hit me that this group was not just about tweens. It was so much more!

LCM is the only group that really recognized my efforts making me feel special. It seemed like just when I needed a boost to keep going the ladies of LCM were there! Whenever I have posted a question there were so many talented (Big Time designers in my mind!) who are always willing to help or just laugh along with me. Since my joining in January, LCM has meant so much to me. The gracious leaders Honee and Jen have really taken me under their wings. Giving me tips & guidance but also helping me to be a better designer, a better seller and perhaps better person altogether. ;-) Without LCM I very much doubt that I'd still be on eBay at all. So here is where I'm taking a brief moment to recognize the hard working leaders and mods of LCM that makes it such a special place! We thank you for all that you do!

November was LCM's anniversary month and the group has undergone some changes! Just when we thought it couldn't get better right? Well it has! Including this blog. I am honored to be a contributor here and hope that it becomes a part of your daily reading!

What a great year it has been! I for one, am looking forward to continuing to be a part of all the fabulous, fun and talented ladies of LCM in the future years to come.
